SAS Designs is owned and operated by Stefanie Seasholtz, a 2003 graduate of Penn State University. Stefanie studied Information Sciences & Technology at PSU and also focused on digital arts. She currently works at PSU in the University Learning Centers hiring and training undergraduate technology tutors. She also is the department's webmaster.

Stefanie became interested in web design in 1997 when a friend of hers created a small Angelfire site and she wanted to make one too. She found that she really enjoyed learning how to create online sites and over the years, continued to take on projects that dealt with web design in order to boost her skills. Stefanie also found that she enjoyed designing the graphics for the sites she made and delved deeply into learning more about the software used to make them.
